This is an ongoing adult Bible study for which no registration is required.

SUNDAY’S COOL
Meets each Sunday during a portion of the 11:00 worship service.
Children ages 4 through elementary school leave the worship service after the Children’s Moment and return during the song after the sermon. Story, crafts, music, and games are used to bring our current sermon series alive for our children.  (Note: No class on Easter morning.)

MEET & GREET with PASTOR
April 8 after both worship services.

SECOND SATURDAY Men’s Group
Men of all ages are invited to Second Saturday on April 14. On the second Saturday of each month the men gather for breakfast at 8:30, Bible study at 9:00, and for a great time of brotherly fellowship. If you would like to come it would be helpful if you would register on Sundays or with the link above so we can plan breakfast.

Teen Girls' SECOND SATURDAY
High school girls age 13-18 get together the second Saturday of each month. Times vary. If you are new to the group and want to be linked to the updates, please contact the church office.

GOLDEN PEOPLE DINING OUT
Folks 50 and over will meet Thursday, February 22 at 5PM at SOL Southwestern Kitchen (1651 N. Main St. Summerville). Please register on the Sunday bulletin insert or with the registration link above.

GOLDEN PEOPLE SPRING DAY TRIP
On April 24th the Golden People (folks 50 and over) will go on their spring day trip to the Pearl Fryar Topiary Garden, 145 Broad Acres Road in Bishopville. Pearl’s internationally recognized garden contains over 300 individual plants and few are spared from his skilled trimming. His extraordinary topiary is complemented by his “junk art” sculptures placed throughout the garden. See the brochure on the community bulletin board or go to pearlfryer.com to find out more. Gather at St Timothy to carpool, with departure at 8:00 a.m., and arrival at 10:00 a.m.  This is a walking tour.  Donations may be made to the gardens. Lunch will be at Harry and Harry Two, which is on Route 15, just outside the entrance to Broad Acres Road. Participants should be returning to the church no later than 3:00 p.m.

GOLDEN GIRLS
The Golden Girls include all women in the congregation 50 and older and we welcome everyone who wants to come.  During the year the new Barbecue Dinner and the annual Easter Breakfast are our biggest ventures.  We hold these events to raise money for our benevolence fund. This fund is used to help members of our church family when they are in difficult times and need a little help with their bills. We don't always meet every month because we join the Golden People group for monthly dinners. Typically we meet on the 2nd Sunday of the month at 4PM. Our next meeting is April 8, 2018. Our meetings aren’t all planning though. We have a lot of fun in our fellowship together!

BLAST  (Book Lovers At St. Timothy)
April’s selection is The Widow by Fiona Barton. Hosted by Valeri Dougherty, the book club will meet April 27, at 7PM, location to be announced.
Come join the discussion and fellowship!  Contact Valeri Dougherty for more info.

PIECES TO PEACE:  What Is It?
This ministry provides hope, compassion, and healing to those affected by trauma and/or abuse.  Teams serve in a variety of ways to provide resources to Leath Women’s Correctional Institute and Bridge to Home as well as to offer small group Biblically-based healing in our community.  If you desire to participate in a Pieces to Peace group as a part of your personal inner healing, we want  to respect your privacy – so please contact Pastor Johnson by phone 843-553-4175 or e-mail at pastorjohnson@sainttimothylutheran.org.
