WORSHIP, PRAY, FELLOWSHIP!
August 19 is a special time for our Children’s Center and Church families to worship together, pray together, and fellowship together!  It begins with 11:00 worship (with installation of all leaders of our education ministries).  Our worship concludes with a Prayer Walk (beginning at 11:50), and is followed by Fellowship under the Trees.

Please bring a finger food to share. Simply drop it off in the kitchen prior to worship, and it will be set out for sharing. Bring anything that doesn’t require utensils – sandwiches, cookies, chips, fruit with toothpicks, you name it! Plates, napkins, and bottled water will be provided.

FAMILY FUN FAIR

ABC – ADULT BIBLE CLASS
Sundays 10:00-10:45 AM

SUNDAY’S COOL
Meets each Sunday during a portion of the 11:00 worship service.
Children ages 4 through elementary school leave the worship service after the Children’s Moment and return during the song after the sermon. Story, crafts, music, and games are used to bring our current sermon series alive for our children.

MEET & GREET with PASTOR

SECOND SATURDAY Men’s Group
Men of all ages are invited to Second Saturday on August 11. On the second Saturday of each month the men gather for breakfast at 8:30, Bible study at 9:00, and for a great time of brotherly fellowship. If you would like to come it would be helpful if you would register on Sundays or with the link above so we can plan breakfast.

GOLDEN GIRLS
The Golden Girls include all women in the congregation 50 and older and we welcome everyone who wants to come.  During the year the new Barbecue Dinner and the annual Easter Breakfast are our biggest ventures.  We hold these events to raise money for our benevolence fund. This fund is used to help members of our church family when they are in difficult times and need a little help with their bills. We don't always meet every month because we join the Golden People group for monthly dinners. Typically we meet on the 2nd Sunday of the month at 4PM.  Our meetings aren’t all planning though. We have a lot of fun in our fellowship together!  OUR NEXT MEETING IS AUGUST 12, 4:00 PM.

PIECES TO PEACE:  What Is It?
This ministry provides hope, compassion, and healing to those affected by trauma and/or abuse.  Teams serve in a variety of ways to provide resources to Leath Women’s Correctional Institute and Bridge to Home as well as to offer small group Biblically-based healing in our community.  If you desire to participate in a Pieces to Peace group as a part of your personal inner healing, we want  to respect your privacy – so please contact Pastor Johnson by phone 843-553-4175 or e-mail at pastorjohnson@sainttimothylutheran.org.
