The Apostles’ Creed for Adults and High-Schoolers
Beginning Sunday, September 23rd we are offering a new adult learning opportunity (for high-schoolers, too). Using Luther’s Small Catechism as an outline, we will explore the basic teachings of the Church in our Lutheran 101 series, beginning with the Apostles’ Creed. Classes will begin promptly at 9:50 on Sunday mornings and be 45 minutes long. To assure that we have adequate supplies and appropriate classroom space, please register with a Sunday bulletin insert by September 9, or with the link above.
Fall Confirmation classes begin Wednesday, September 19, at 7:00. Over the course of two years, middle school students learn the basic teachings of the Lutheran Church in preparation for confirmation. This fall we will be studying the Apostles’ Creed. Please speak with Pastor Johnson about any questions you may have and to register.

The Golden Girls include all women in the congregation 50 and older and we welcome everyone who wants to come. During the year the new Barbecue Dinner and the annual Easter Breakfast are our biggest ventures. We hold these events to raise money for our benevolence fund. This fund is used to help members of our church family when they are in difficult times and need a little help with their bills. We don't meet every month. Our meetings aren’t all planning though. We have a lot of fun in our fellowship together! OUR NEXT MEETING IS SEPTEMBER 16, 4:00 PM.
