GOLDEN PEOPLE DINING OUT

The menu is on the Community Bulletin Board across from the office. Sign up with the colored insert in Sunday's Bulletin or using the link above. Contact Joyce Hitchcock if you have questions.
The Golden Girls include all women in the congregation 50 and older and we welcome everyone who wants to come. During the year the Annual Yard Sale and the Easter Breakfast are our biggest ventures. We hold these events to raise money for our benevolence fund. This fund is used to help members of our church family when they are in difficult times and need a little help with their bills. We don't always meet every month because we join the Golden People group for monthly dinners. Typically we meet on the 2nd Sunday of the month at 4PM. We will announce when we schedule to meet again. Our meetings aren’t all planning though. We have a lot of fun in our fellowship together!

HOLY COMMUNION INSTRUCTION for FAMILIES WITH YOUNG CHILDREN
Here at St. Timothy, parents and guardians decide when they would like for their children to receive Holy Communion.
The 3-session class is on Sundays at 10AM: May 21, 28 and June 4.
- For children who are already communing as well as for children who are preparing to commune for the first time.
- This class is not a requirement, but is highly recommended for families who desire to gain a basic understanding about this holy meal.
- It is required that parents or guardians attend this class with their child(ren). The class is not designed for children to attend by themselves. (They will do that in grades 6-8 when they study Lutheran sacraments in more depth during Confirmation Class.)
Child care is lovingly provided for infants and pre-school-aged children during worship services and during adult classes held between worship services on Sunday mornings.
HOLY BAPTISM and RECEPTION OF NEW MEMBERS
Sunday, June 25 at both worship services. To be included please return the Sunday sign-up sheet or call the church office by June 13.
PIECES TO PEACE: What Is It?
This ministry provides hope, compassion, and healing to those affected by trauma and/or abuse. Teams serve in a variety of ways to provide resources to Leath Women’s Correctional Institute and Bridge to Home as well as to offer small group Biblically-based healing in our community. If you desire to participate in a Pieces to Peace group as a part of your personal inner healing, we want to respect your privacy – so please contact Pastor Johnson by phone 843-553-4175 or e-mail at email@example.com.
