We begin Lent on Ash Wednesday with worship at 7 p.m. Every Wednesday after that during Lent we begin with dinner at 6 p.m. followed with evening prayer at 7 p.m. The Ash Wednesday service is traditional in format.
We have three services on Christmas Eve, 5 p.m., 8 p.m. and 11 p.m. The contemporary 8 p.m. and traditional 11 p.m. worship are candlelight services. The 5 p.m. service is geared for families with small children, with the story of Christ's birth beautifully yet simply told with story and song. All three services include Holy Communion.
About Holy Communion...
We believe and teach that in the sacrament of Holy Communion we receive, with bread and wine, the true Body and Blood of our Lord Jesus Christ and that through this Sacrament, God grants us forgiveness of sins, and life and salvation. We welcome all who affirm this faith to share with us in the Lord's Supper.
To our Guests
The members of St. Timothy Lutheran want to welcome you to worship with
us each Sunday. We pray that you will be nourished by our worship and welcomed into our fellowship.
As a worshiping community, we gather weekly for Eucharistic worship.
We worship each Sunday at 8:30a.m. using traditional liturgy and hymns and
at 11:00 a.m. with live, contemporary worship and praise music . Our traditional
worship service has its own bulletin complete with all music and liturgy. The contemporary worship service uses screens that display all music and liturgy.
Sunday's Cool for Children This is an ongoing class that requires no registration. Children leave the
worship service after the Children's Moment to engage in Bible lessons
geared to their age and ability. They return to worship during the song
following the message. The theme each month is taught through story,
crafts, music and games.
Tiny Tim's activity bags are hanging in the foyer near the coat rack for
children to use during worship.
A nursery is provided for infants thru preschool age children during
church services and Adult Bible Study. It is located at the end of the administrative hallway (turn right after entering through the front door).
VERSE OF THE DAY: While we wait for the blessed hope--the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good. -- Titus 2:13-14
